PEOPLE adopted at birth develop cancer-risk factors of their adopted parents, not biological parents.

WATER – The way water is being managed worldwide, we will run out of water long before we run out of oil.

CANCER-FIGHTERS – include thyme, rosemary, mint, basil, sage, tumeric and ginger in your diet and cooking. They also improve taste and flavor.

MIND OVER BODY – When your body cannot outfight disease, sometimes your mind can outthink it.

THE UNITED STATES is a great country, full of creativity and superior performance. For example:

IDEAS lead to theoretical breakthroughs.

INVENTION leads to patent protection.

INNOVATION leads to new products.

IMITATION – we must be vigilant about China: duplication, cheap products and no quality control means economic setback for us.

COMMUNICATION – Sanskrit, Latin and Greek have common linguistic origins.

NEUROPLASTICITY – Though we are terrified of Alzheimer’s disease and senility, the new wisdom is that the brain has the capacity to change its structure and function even as we get older, especially if it is fed the right nutrients and challenged with new activities. We are still in the exploratory phase of neuroplasticity, but we now know about the mind/body, brain/spirit connection.

KNOWLEDGE is not the property of individuals but rather the right of all those determined to seek it.

LEARNING – In this world full of conflicts, the process of learning is very important. History teaches us understanding. Theory teaches us philosophy. Criticism teaches us critical thinking. Creation of knowledge is essential to human activity. Learn to Reflect, Remember and Respect.

CAREFUL LISTENING is key to careful thinking.

STRESS – financial stress can depress your immune system, increase your blood pressure and hasten your aging process.

PHYSICS is the cornerstone of modern thought.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH – there is no science without it.

On a lighter note, a PERSON in decline: One day he is a peacock, the next day he is a feather duster.

That is it for today – Love, Light and Peace.

#1 Cancer risk factors

Submitted by Anonymous on Thu, 2010-06-17 13:37.

I would love to know more about why adopted children develop the same cancer risk factors as their adoptive parents. Is this due to their environment, the food they eat? Or is it more about body/mind relationship?
